As Britain's property market continues to navigate choppy waters, estate agents are racing to adapt digital marketing strategies that truly capture buyer attention. New data from PropertyBox reveals a six-fold increase in online visibility for UK agents using professionally produced video listings on social media – a clear game-changer in the sector.
PropertyBox's platform, which marries expert photography with AI-driven content creation, has been behind some remarkable results. In June 2026 alone, its video posts generated over 8.1 million impressions and drove 212,000 clicks to agents' websites. That averages out at around 1,851 impressions, 701 video views, and 48 website clicks per post – a potent formula for grabbing potential buyers' attention.
These findings suggest that dynamic video content is not just a nicety in today's competitive housing market, but an essential tool for agents looking to stand out from the crowd. By fostering their own online audience and nurturing leads more effectively, they can secure buyer interest in even the most challenging conditions.
A closer look at the data reveals a direct correlation between professional marketing and sales success. According to independent research from TwentyCi, properties marketed professionally were 28.3% more likely to complete a sale – and achieved sale prices averaging 1.9% higher than comparable properties, translating to an extra £7,356 for sellers on average UK homes.
Lee Wainwright, PropertyBox's chief executive, puts it bluntly: "The agents everyone's watching are the ones stopping the scroll with professionally shot video – not static posts." He adds, "In June alone, our agents' videos drove over 212,000 clicks straight back to their own websites. That's an audience they own and control, growing listing by listing."
