Propertymark has introduced an online calculator to help estate and letting agents estimate the financial benefits of its Company Advantage membership packages.

  • The calculator provides personalised estimates of potential savings on business costs.
  • It also highlights additional revenue opportunities, such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) check tokens and referral fees.
  • Agencies could potentially generate up to £15,750 annually through AML checks, according to Propertymark.

Propertymark has launched an online calculator designed to help estate and letting agents assess the potential financial benefits of its Company Advantage membership packages. The interactive tool offers agencies personalised estimates of possible savings on business costs and outlines additional revenue streams available through the scheme.

After inputting business details, users receive an estimate of savings across services including professional indemnity insurance, cyber security, accountant’s reports, and compliance support. The calculator also details potential income sources, such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) check tokens and referral fees from Propertymark Connect, which links clients to property-related services.

Propertymark states that agencies utilising the relevant membership package could generate up to £15,750 per year through AML checks. The organisation also suggests that referral income from Propertymark Connect could help offset the annual membership cost. Nathan Emerson, CEO of Propertymark, commented that the calculator demonstrates the commercial value of membership beyond compliance and technical support.

Why this matters: The calculator aims to provide agencies with information to make informed business decisions regarding professional membership, potentially helping them reduce costs and generate revenue.
