Queens Of The Stone Age have revealed the title of their ninth studio album, 'Perfecth', and a potential release date of September 30th.

  • Queens Of The Stone Age's new album is titled 'Perfecth'.
  • A potential release date of September 30th has been suggested, though it is not confirmed.
  • The announcement was made via a teaser video featuring Josh Homme and Dean Fertita.

Queens Of The Stone Age have announced their ninth studio album will be titled 'Perfecth'. The band also hinted at a release date of September 30th, though this remains unconfirmed.

The announcement came via a 90-second teaser video featuring frontman Josh Homme and guitarist-keyboardist Dean Fertita. In the clip, the two play a game of five-finger fillet, during which Homme states, "September 30th, I think," when asked about the record's release. A voice-over later confirms the album title and the September 30th date, but the date is then crossed out at the end of the video.

The potential release date of September 30th falls on a Wednesday, which is not a typical new album release day. This uncertainty is also reflected in the video's title, 'Coming…soon?'.

This album announcement follows the release of their first single, 'Easy Street', which was accompanied by a music video. 'Easy Street' marks the band's first new material since their eighth studio album, 'In Times New Roman…', released in 2023.
