Raheem Sterling, the former England footballer, has pleaded guilty to dangerously driving a Lamborghini on a motorway earlier this year. He appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, where he admitted to the charges.
The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a Lamborghini Urus dangerously on the M25, M3, A327, and Minley Road before a crash on 28 May. He also admitted to possessing six nitrous oxide cannisters for wrongful inhalation, which is a Class C drug, and failing to provide a specimen.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary previously stated that the charges followed a single-vehicle collision on the M3 southbound, near the Minley interchange, on 28 May. The force confirmed that no other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported in the incident.
