Rangers' Europa League qualification hopes are in the balance after a 2-1 defeat to Jagiellonia Bialystok in Poland. The Gers initially took the lead in the first leg of the third qualifier when Guilherme Montoia scored an own goal after just four minutes.
However, Kajetan Szmyt levelled for Jagiellonia Bialystok in the 13th minute and added a second goal eight minutes later. Despite substitutions and dominating possession in the second half, Rangers could not find an equaliser, with Findlay Curtis hitting the post in added time.
New signing Daisuke Yokota made his debut for Derek McInnes' side. Rangers will now need to turn the tie around at Ibrox next week.
