Eddie Robinson, 69, was diagnosed with Pure Autonomic Failure (PAF) five years ago. The condition affects his body's ability to control automatic processes, leading to symptoms such as dizziness and passing out. These symptoms have sometimes led people to believe he is drunk.

Mr Robinson, from Warwickshire, stated that he is one of 180 patients with PAF known to the medical profession in the UK. He described PAF as a degenerative condition for which there is no cure, only treatments for symptoms.

His symptoms began with fainting and dizziness in 2010, worsening over time until he sought medical attention in 2018. He received his diagnosis in 2021. Mr Robinson and his wife Suzie are now seeking to raise awareness of the condition.
