Real Madrid has announced operating revenues exceeding €1.2bn for the last season, setting a new world record for a sports team. The declared figure of €1.221bn, which equates to £1.04bn, marks a three per cent increase compared to the 2024-25 campaign.
This achievement surpasses the $1.23bn previously reported by the NFL's Dallas Cowboys in 2024. The club stated that this growth is primarily driven by directly operated businesses, with stadium revenues increasing by 11 per cent and marketing revenues by six per cent.
The redevelopment of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium into a multi-use venue, hosting concerts and other non-football events, has been a significant factor in the club's recent revenue growth. Real Madrid also reported a small after-tax profit of €26m, continuing a 26-year streak of profitability.
