Real Madrid completed an astonishing comeback against Roma in the Champions League on Wednesday, scoring three late goals to secure a 4-3 away victory. Marten de Roon opened the scoring for Roma before Kylian Mbappé, in his 100th Champions League appearance, levelled the scores. Donyell Malen then scored twice early in the second half, putting Roma 3-1 ahead.
However, Madrid turned the game around in the final six minutes with goals from Carlos Espí, Endrick, and former Roma defender Antonio Rüdiger, all stemming from corners.
In another Champions League fixture, Fredrik Sjøvold's 52nd-minute strike secured a 1-0 victory for Bodø/Glimt over Borussia Dortmund. This win extended the Norwegian side's strong home record against top European teams.
Elsewhere, Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donetsk, playing at Stamford Bridge, came from behind to beat AEK Athens 3-1. Real Betis also defeated Porto 3-2 in Seville, with Isco scoring the winner. Stuttgart maintained their perfect record with a 3-0 win against Slovan Bratislava, and Feyenoord beat Como 3-2.
