Reform UK has announced plans to fine companies 10% of their global revenues and imprison bosses who employ illegal migrant workers. The party's home affairs spokesman, Zia Yusuf, is expected to unveil the policy, dubbed the 'Deliveroo law', in a speech later today.

Under the proposed Reform government policy, employers would be held responsible for employing illegal migrants even if they were unaware of the worker's immigration status. Yusuf stated that these measures would make Britain's penalties for employing illegal migrants the harshest globally.

Current legislation allows for fines of up to £60,000 per illegal worker for businesses that do not carry out correct checks. The Home Office reported in January that visits and arrests related to illegal working reached their highest levels since 2019, with 12,791 visits in 2025.
