Reform UK has received an additional £4 million from British crypto billionaire Ben Delo, bringing his total donations to the party to £8 million. The party has expressed confidence that this latest contribution will not be affected by the new overseas donor cap.

Mr Delo was convicted in the US in 2022 for failing to implement adequate anti-money laundering controls in his cryptocurrency business, BitMEX, before being pardoned by Donald Trump. He had previously donated £4 million to Reform UK in January.

Mr Delo's £8 million in gifts position him as Reform UK's second-largest contributor, following Christopher Harborne, who has given £15 million to the party since the last election. Mr Delo is reportedly in the process of moving back to the UK.
