Ricky Gervais' new adult animated sitcom, 'Alley Cats', has launched on Netflix, featuring a notable soundtrack. The series, created, written, and directed by Gervais, includes tracks from artists such as Coldplay, The Smiths, and Van Halen.
The show centres on a group of foul-mouthed feral cats residing in a derelict London house. Ricky Gervais provides the voice for Gus, the group's self-appointed leader, with a cast that also includes Tom Basden, Andrew Brooke, David Earl, Diane Morgan, Jo Hartley, Kerry Godliman, Natalie Cassidy, and Tony Way.
All six episodes of 'Alley Cats' are currently available for streaming on Netflix. The series also features an original score composed by former Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows, who has previously collaborated with Gervais on projects like 'David Brent: Life On The Road' and 'After Life'.
