Rightmove has introduced a rent review function to its Tenancy Manager platform, designed to assist letting agents in adapting their processes following changes from the Renters’ Rights Act. The new feature allows agents to generate and issue a Section 13 rent increase notice directly from an existing tenancy record.
According to Rightmove, this addition was among the most frequently requested by letting agents. The company suggests that integrating the notice process into the platform should help reduce administrative tasks and centralise tenancy information.
Tarah Lourens, Rightmove's chief technology and operations officer, stated that the update aims to make a necessary process more efficient and manageable. She added that continuous improvements to the Lead to Keys suite are intended to create a more connected renting experience, saving agents time and money, improving service for landlords, and enhancing the tenant experience.
The Lead to Keys suite combines property advertising, enquiry management, referencing, and tenancy progression. Rightmove has also recently added landlord politically exposed persons (PEP) and sanctions checks through Rightmove Plus, and digital identity verification for tenant applicants as part of the referencing process.
