Rightmove has launched a new rent review function as part of its Tenancy Manager platform. This update is designed to assist letting agents in adapting to changes brought about by the Renters’ Rights Act.
The new feature enables agents to create and serve a Section 13 rent increase notice directly from an existing tenancy record. Rightmove stated that this functionality was a highly requested update from letting agents.
Integrating rent reviews into Tenancy Manager allows agents to manage this process alongside other tenancy information, rather than using separate systems. The aim is to reduce administrative tasks and support agents in complying with the regulations governing rent increases.
This launch is part of Rightmove’s Lead to Keys suite, which covers various stages of the lettings process, including property advertising, enquiry management, referencing, and tenancy progression. Rightmove has also recently added PEPs and sanctions checks for landlords, tenants, and guarantors, and digital ID verification to Rightmove Referencing.
