Following England's innings, Robinson took two wickets in the first over of Pakistan's second innings, leaving them in a precarious position. Pakistan reached 52 for two before rain halted play, with Azan Awais on 29 not out and Shan Masood unbeaten on 21.

England is now in a commanding position, needing to take eight more wickets to secure victory. Play was abandoned at 5:30pm due to heavy rain, but England is expected to wrap up the win on Friday.
