Developers Rockstar Games are reportedly considering a sequel to their crime drama L.A. Noire, according to recent reports. This project could follow the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, which is due out on November 19.
A resurfaced leak from 2023, which contained accurate information about Grand Theft Auto 6, suggested that Rockstar was in the “very early stages of development” on an L.A. Noire sequel. The leak claimed the game would be set in San Francisco and centre on the Zodiac Killer, who was active between 1968 and 1974. A potential release year of 2030 was also mentioned.
Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, the publishers of GTA, stated earlier this year that the company is exploring future projects for all its intellectual property. He added that any specific announcements regarding L.A. Noire would come from Rockstar.
