  • Flintoff scored 123 runs from 76 balls, including 10 fours and seven sixes.
  • He reached his century from 65 deliveries during a 214-run partnership with Keaton Jennings.
  • This century marks the latest milestone in Flintoff's young career, following several 'youngest' records.

Rocky Flintoff, the 18-year-old son of former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, has achieved his first senior professional century for Lancashire. The right-hander scored a superb 123 runs from 76 balls, featuring 10 fours and seven sixes, in Lancashire's One-Day Cup clash against Somerset at Taunton.

Flintoff entered the crease with Lancashire at 138-3 and was the main aggressor in a 214-run partnership with Keaton Jennings, who made 156. Flintoff reached his century in just 65 deliveries, contributing to Lancashire's total of 443-6, their highest in List A cricket.

This milestone adds to Flintoff's notable achievements, which include becoming Lancashire's youngest player in 2024 and the youngest centurion for both England Under-19s and England Lions. He signed a new two-year contract extension with Lancashire in March, despite previous injury setbacks and reports of a potential move.
