At least 13 people have been killed and dozens injured in heavy Russian attacks on Ukraine. Casualties were reported primarily in the Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions after Russia launched 74 missiles and 284 drones.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile crossed into Poland, violating Nato airspace, as part of Russia’s strike. Polish authorities are investigating an impact site in eastern Poland near Tarnawa-Kolonia, approximately 80 km from the Polish-Ukrainian border, after an unidentified object moving westward was detected in Polish airspace and crashed.

Local police discovered scattered debris from an unidentified object in a field about 2 km from the nearest buildings. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk is travelling to the impact site today. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who met with Tusk in Lublin hours before the incident, said Ukraine faces a “critical shortage of air defence missiles from our partners.”
