Police are urging residents to check their gardens and sheds as a search continues for a three-year-old boy, Noah, who went missing on Tuesday. Noah was last seen at 3pm in Merriam Close in Brantham, near Manningtree, after reportedly running down an alleyway towards a housing estate.
Officers from Suffolk Constabulary have cordoned off the alleyway and are conducting door-to-door inquiries. A Coastguard helicopter has also been seen circling the village, which is near the River Stour estuary.
Noah is described as white, with curly ginger hair, and was wearing shorts, white trainers, and a white T-shirt with the TV character Bluey on. Over 100 people are reported to have joined the search efforts by Tuesday evening, and train services between Manningtree and Ipswich are operating at reduced speeds.
Suffolk Constabulary has asked anyone who believes they have seen Noah to contact them, quoting CAD 203 of 15 September.
