Aussie actress Shabana Azeez is spilling the beans on the wild world of Hollywood – and let's just say it's not all glamour and glory. This fiery firecracker has tackled medical procedures, broken a $75,000 drilling rig (ouch!), and even simulated patient scenarios where she made medical students cry – talk about going the extra mile! But what really got her goat was the US coffee – a cup of joe that left a bitter taste in her mouth.
During filming for 'The Pitt', Azeez witnessed some serious on-set action, including a full-on vaginal birth and drilling into a skull (no, it wasn't a real one!). But when it came to the morning brew, she drew the line. "Bad over there," she quipped, labelling it the "most disgusting thing" she encountered in her time on set.
But Azeez's experiences go far beyond the world of acting – and they're not all about drama and excitement either. Before becoming an Aussie acting sensation, she worked as a simulated patient for medical schools, putting students through their paces with fake appendicitis, crying fits, and (you guessed it) drilling into skulls. "They think they can handle it," she chuckled, "but then I start crying and they're like, 'Oh no, we've got this!'"
