A 13-year-old girl from a farm near Baschurch, Shropshire, has seen her five-year-old cow, Lucky Lady, give birth to triplets. The National Farmers' Union estimates the likelihood of this occurring is approximately one in 100,000.

Sophie, who has looked after cows since she was six months old, named the calves Tia, Tilly, and Tiffany. She stated that the vet had initially predicted twins, and the triplets were an unexpected discovery.

This event marks the second time within months that a cow in Shropshire has given birth to triplets. Another farmer near Shifnal, James Chatham, experienced a similar birth in May.
