Six people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 23-year-old woman was found dead in north London. Police were called to a residential address on Bollinder Place, Clerkenwell, at 09:33 BST on Thursday, 6 August, following concerns for the woman's welfare.
Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and found an unresponsive woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four women, aged 20, 21, 23, and 26, and two men, aged 21 and 24, were arrested at the scene. All six have since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
Ch Supt Jason Stewart stated that the death appears to be an "isolated incident" with no wider risk to the public. Det Ch Insp Paul Waller added that detectives are working to establish what happened and are appealing for information.
