Harrison Glynne Jones, a six-year-old boy, has died after being struck by a van in Llanfairfechan, Conwy county. The incident, involving a white Ford Transit Tipper, occurred on Mill Road after 17:00 BST on Thursday, where Harrison was pronounced dead at the scene.

North Wales Police confirmed that a 39-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released under investigation. An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.

A fundraising page launched by Kate Jones to support Harrison's family described him as a "cheeky chappy, full of character with a personality that could light up a room." The page aims to cover funeral and memorial costs, as well as household bills for his parents while they grieve.
