Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust confirmed that North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service has pinpointed solar panels on the roof as the most likely cause of the fire. These repeated occurrences prompted approximately 80 schools in Suffolk to switch off their solar panels as a precautionary measure.
Despite these incidents, Suffolk County Council suggests that each fire had distinct causes, implying there isn't a single common fault across all panels. Instead, it appears the incidents originated from individual units rather than a widespread issue with the panels themselves.
