The United States has drawn level with Europe at 8-8 in the Solheim Cup after a thrilling second day at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands. Jennifer Kupcho delivered two crucial putts to secure an improbable victory for the US pair in the final fourball match.
Europe had established a two-point lead after the morning foursomes. Maja Stark and Linn Grant, along with Leona Maguire and Esther Henseleit, secured points for Europe, while Mimi Rhodes and Nastasia Nadaud also contributed a point.
However, the partnership of Charley Hull and Lottie Woad continued to struggle, losing 6&5 in the foursomes and 1UP in the fourballs. In the afternoon fourballs, Stark and Grant secured Europe's only point, beating Megan Khang and Lauren Coughlin 2&1. The day concluded with Kupcho's decisive putts, which brought the USA back to an even score.
