South Korea's capital, Seoul, is a hub for beauty treatments, combining traditional practices with advanced technology. Many of these treatments are said to be unavailable outside the country.
The cost of these treatments is reportedly 30 to 50 per cent lower than in the UK, Europe, and the US. Clinics and spas in South Korea frequently offer assessments and diagnoses to provide personalised treatments.
Among the popular offerings are traditional body scrubs (seshin), lymphatic drainage massages, and in-depth scalp treatments. Scalp care, in particular, is taken as seriously as skincare, with some head spas offering up to 21 steps.
Other experiences include personal colour analysis, which helps determine the most suitable colours for an individual's skin tone, hair, and eye colour. Haircuts in Seoul are also reportedly around 40 per cent cheaper than in major UK cities.
