A family from south Wales sold their home and businesses in May 2026 to begin a one-way journey travelling the world with their three children. Dani, 39, a nurse, and Tom Wooldridge, 38, who ran a construction business, left with Olivia, 12, Morgan, seven, and George, four.
The family has spent the last five months travelling across Indonesia, including Bali and Lombok. They are currently in Lombok for a second stay, where their children have been attending a world schooling centre.
Despite their travels, the Wooldridges are following the UK teaching curriculum for their children. Olivia has an online maths tutor, and the boys have a tutor covering the primary curriculum, English, and some science with Olivia.
The family plans to move on to Malaysia after their time in Indonesia.
