Street.co.uk has integrated the government's official Form 4A directly into its rent review workflow. This update allows letting agents to generate, sign, and serve mandatory rent increase notices for periodic tenancies without leaving the platform.
The Renters' Rights Act requires landlords and letting agents to use Form 4A for proposed rent increases on periodic tenancies. Previously, this often involved a manual process of downloading the form, re-entering information, and arranging signatures separately from their CRM systems.
The new functionality automatically populates tenancy, property, landlord, and rent details from existing CRM information. Agents can review, amend, electronically sign, and serve the notice via email within a single workflow. Completed notices are automatically linked to the tenancy record, creating an audit trail.
Heather Staff, Co-CEO of Street Group, stated that the update aims to build compliance into everyday workflows, reducing repetitive administration and supporting a more consistent approach to serving rent increase notices.
