A Your Move franchise operator in Suffolk has acquired a lettings agency with 125 managed properties. This marks the eighth acquisition completed by the business in the last 18 months.
Oliver Hurren, who operates four Your Move branches across Suffolk, purchased Your Property Solutions from owners John and Shirley-Ann Carter. The Carters are retiring from the lettings sector, and the acquired property portfolio will transfer to Hurren’s Your Move Beccles branch.
LSL Estate Agency Franchising supported the transaction through its Assisted Acquisitions Programme. This programme offers franchise partners assistance with valuations, due diligence, onboarding, and financing options.
The acquisition reflects a broader trend of consolidation within the property services sector. This trend sees larger operators acquiring smaller independent agencies, partly due to increasing compliance costs and competitive pressures faced by independent operators.
