A 10-year-old schoolboy from Banstead, Surrey, has visited every London Overground and Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station in under 24 hours. George, a transport enthusiast, described the challenge as "exhausting but amazing".

George mapped out a route that included 113 Overground stations and 45 DLR stops. He completed the journey with his mother, departing Banstead at 05:00 on 7 August and returning to Sutton at 00:28 BST the following morning.

His mother, Janet, stated that both she and George's father, Colin, are "incredibly proud of his dedication". She added that George spent a week planning the route and checking timetables.
