Get ready to unleash your inner metalhead! System Of A Down is firing up the excitement with not one, not two, but FIVE exclusive pop-up shops across Europe and the UK, as part of their electrifying summer tour. These temporary retail temples are set to deliver a treasure trove of unique merchandise, including limited-edition goodies and special collaborations that will make your heart skip a beat.
The pop-up shop trail begins in Stockholm on June 27-30, with subsequent locations popping up in Paris (July 1-5), Berlin (July 6-9), Düsseldorf (July 8-11), and finally London, where the shop will be open from July 10-16. This coincides perfectly with their two massive shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 13 and 15 – a momentous return to London since 2015 and their first European tour dates in five years!
Inside these pop-up shops, fans can expect an incredible array of exclusive goodies, including tees, hoodies, track jackets, and jerseys. But that's not all – a special collaboration with sportswear brand Hummel will see the release of limited-edition football tops that are sure to turn heads. And to commemorate their 25th anniversary album 'Toxicity', each pop-up shop will feature unique vinyl variants, as well as posters and tour-edition vinyl formats.
The London pop-up shop will be situated at 56-57 Eastcastle Street, W1W 8EQ, and will be open from 10am to 8pm daily, with reduced hours on Sunday, July 12. System Of A Down will be supported by Queens Of The Stone Age and Acid Bath, who are reuniting after a 17-year hiatus – talk about adding fuel to the fire!
Frontman Serj Tankian has revealed that the band is "having the best time of [their] lives as a band", while guitarist Daron Malakian highlighted their renewed camaraderie. But don't get your hopes up for new music just yet – these four distinct personalities are clearly enjoying each other's company, but we'll have to wait and see if that translates into fresh tunes.
This initiative is a win-win for both the band and fans, providing an unforgettable experience for concert-goers and enthusiasts alike. It's a tangible connection to their music and history – get ready to feel the rush!
