Taylor Swift has confirmed the release of 'The Life Of A Showgirl: The Encore', an extended edition of her latest album. This new version will feature four additional songs and is set to arrive in full this Friday, September 25.
The pop artist's 12th studio album, 'The Life Of A Showgirl', was originally released in October 2025. It was co-produced with Max Martin and Shellback and included hit singles such as 'The Fate Of Ophelia', 'Opalite', and 'Elizabeth Taylor'.
Swift revealed on social media last night, Tuesday September 22, that a new single titled 'Patient Zero' would be shared this Friday. She later confirmed that this track would be part of 'The Life Of A Showgirl: The Encore'.
Swift stated that the new songs "were born out of pure gratitude for your exuberance for and celebration of the album we made." She also noted that fans gave 'The Life Of A Showgirl' the "biggest first week for an album in history."
