Tesla delivered more than 486,532 electric vehicles (EVs) in the third quarter of 2026, exceeding consensus estimates from Wall Street. The company also reported building 464,391 vehicles in the same period.
This marks the second strong quarter in a row for Tesla. Deliveries in Q3 2026 increased by approximately 6,000 vehicles compared to the second quarter. However, sales were down from the same period last year, when Tesla delivered 497,000 vehicles.
In the US market, Tesla's sales were down nearly 20% year-over-year before the Q3 numbers were released. The company has reportedly focused on other markets, with sales rising in Europe and continued strong sales from its factory in China.
Tesla has also recently launched the production version of its electric big rig and aims to produce around 50,000 Tesla Semi vehicles annually. The second-generation Roadster is set to be re-revealed on October 15.
