The Coral is set to ignite the UK and Ireland once again, announcing their highly anticipated 2026 tour, following in the footsteps of their surprise album '388'. This enigmatic indie band has been making waves with their latest release, recorded on a vintage 1970s Tascam 388 tape recorder, capturing the raw essence of their sound. The result is an undeniably authentic and captivating album that's got fans buzzing.
The tour is set to be just as electrifying, kicking off on October 2nd at Sheffield's Foundry, before heading to Newcastle, Leeds, London (KOKO), Brighton, Manchester (Albert Hall), and Birmingham (O2 Institute 2). The December leg brings two huge arena shows: Dublin's 3Arena on December 10th and Glasgow's OVO Hydro on December 18th. It's shaping up to be one of the most talked-about tours of the year!
But that's not all - a talented line-up of support acts will be joining The Coral on different dates, including Dave McCabe of The Zutons in Sheffield and Mozart Estate, who'll bring their unique sound to several cities. Irish folk band The Mary Wallopers will add an extra layer of magic to the Brighton, Dublin, and Glasgow shows.
In a clever move, the band has released a new music video for 'Leave It In The Past', directed by James Slater, which sees them performing in the picturesque Birkenhead Market. Keyboardist Nick Power revealed that releasing '388' as a surprise was all about creating a sense of discovery and intrigue among fans.
