A “lost recording” of a 1994 live performance by The Cranberries in London is scheduled for release for the first time. The unearthed performance, titled 'The Cranberries: Live At The London Astoria II, 1994', captures the band at the now-defunct venue.
The release features 15 stripped-back live recordings, including nine songs from their album 'No Need To Argue', which was released later in 1994 and included the hit 'Zombie'. It also contains tracks from their 1993 debut, 'Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?', such as 'Pretty', 'Linger', and 'Dreams'.
Drummer Fergal Lawler reflected on the show, stating it was their first concert back in London after achieving success in America. He added that the band felt proud to see their hardcore fans and that their hard work had come to fruition.
The album will be available on September 4 via Island/UMe in multiple formats, including a 2xLP Limited Edition Molten Lava Vinyl, standard black vinyl, CD, and digitally.
