At least three people have been killed after a section of overpass partially collapsed in South Korea, officials have confirmed.
The incident occurred in the city of Pohang, with reports suggesting that the collapse happened while a vehicle was passing over the structure.
According to local media, rescue teams were quickly dispatched to the scene, and emergency services were able to rescue a number of people from the rubble.
However, despite their efforts, three people were pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the collapse is currently under investigation, with officials from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the National Emergency Management Agency leading the inquiry.
