Tijjani Reijnders, the Dutch international midfielder, is reportedly close to completing a transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al Qadsiah. The deal is said to be worth around £55m, marking an end to his time at Manchester City after just one season.
City acquired Reijnders for £45m last summer, meaning the club is set to make a small profit from his sale. He had signed a five-year contract with Manchester City, expressing his ambition to play in the Premier League.
Before joining City, Reijnders scored 15 goals in his last season at AC Milan and was named Serie A's midfielder of the season. His departure is part of a wider trend of increasing player churn at the top end of the Premier League.
