Tottenham are reportedly interested in acquiring both Omar Marmoush and Savinho from Manchester City as manager Roberto De Zerbi looks to strengthen his attacking options. Spurs previously considered a £50m move for Brazilian winger Savinho last summer, who is described as a long-term target.
Marmoush, an Egypt international, joined City in January 2025 from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59m. He has since scored 16 goals in 62 appearances for the club. Savinho, who arrived in 2024 from City's sister club Troyes, has netted seven goals in 84 appearances.
Last season, Marmoush started eight Premier League matches, while Savinho began just seven. Savinho did not feature in Sunday’s Community Shield defeat to Arsenal, whereas Marmoush, who has served as a striking alternative to Erling Haaland, played for the final 37 minutes.
Manchester City have generated approximately £160m this summer through player sales, including Rodri, Tijjani Reijnders, James Trafford, and Nathan Ake. This sum could increase if Marmoush and Savinho depart. Tottenham, meanwhile, have broken their transfer record twice to sign midfielders Mateus Fernandes for £85m and Sandro Tonali for a fee potentially rising to £100m.
