Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly on the verge of a significant double swoop, with deals for Manchester City's Savinho and Omar Marmoush from the FA Cup-winners nearing completion. The transfer for Savinho is understood to be close to agreement at £85 million, while a separate deal for Marmoush is being worked on for approximately £75 million.
Savinho, a 22-year-old winger, joined the City Football Group in summer 2022 for 40 million euros (£30.8 million). After loan spells, he joined Manchester City two years ago but reportedly did not become a first-choice player under former manager Pep Guardiola. The prospective £85 million sale would represent a near £55 million profit for City's owners.
Omar Marmoush, an Egyptian forward, was bought in January 2025 for around £59 million. Like Savinho, Marmoush was not a regular starter under Guardiola, reportedly due to competition with Erling Haaland.
Should Spurs successfully acquire both players, their total investment in Roberto De Zerbi's squad this summer would reportedly climb to £387 million. This figure follows previous purchases including Sandro Tonali for £100 million, Mateus Fernandes for £85 million, and Jan Paul van Hencke for £52 million.
