Taylor Townsend and Katerina Siniakova secured their first US Open women’s doubles title as a pairing on Friday, completing the career Grand Slam together. The top seeds overcame wildcards Ashlyn Krueger and Robin Montgomery in a three-set match on Arthur Ashe Stadium, winning 5-7 6-0 6-2.

This victory marks their fourth major title as a duo, following wins at Wimbledon in 2024, the Australian Open in 2025, and the French Open earlier this year. Katerina Siniakova, 30, achieved a personal milestone by becoming the first player to complete the career Grand Slam with two different partners, having previously done so with Barbora Krejcikova.

Siniakova's 12th major doubles title places her as the eighth woman in the Open era to win 12 or more major doubles titles. She also has the potential to surpass Martina Navratilova for the most seasons ending as the top-ranked player if she finishes the year as world No 1 for the sixth time.
