Millie Harvey's heart still skips a beat when she thinks back to her whirlwind adventure on Take That's 'Circus' tour. The trampolinist's emotions ran high as she took to the stage at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium for the opening night, and it's little wonder why – who wouldn't be blown away by the sheer scale of the production? "I had to hold back tears," Harvey recalled, her eyes still shining with excitement. "It felt surreal, like I was living a dream." And what a dream it must have been, joining forces with Take That for 17 shows across the UK and Ireland.
The partnership between Harvey and her Great Britain synchronised trampolining partner Max Middleton proved to be an electrifying addition to the tour. Together, they brought their unique blend of energy and precision to the stage, bringing the house down time and time again. "It was incredible," Harvey gushed. "The fans were so into it, and watching Take That in action – what can I say? It was just amazing."
As we all know, performing on a tour of this magnitude doesn't come easy. But Harvey's rave reviews for the band members were music to our ears: "They're the most lovely, down-to-earth, amazing people," she raved. "So hardworking and always made everyone feel so welcome." It's clear that Harvey was swept up in the Take That magic – and who can blame her?
But while the tour may be over for now, Harvey's trampolining career is far from it. In fact, she's been making waves in the sport with a string of impressive performances, including reaching the semi-finals in the individual event at a World Cup held in Italy and competing alongside Middleton in their first world final at the senior world championships in Spain.
