Donald Trump reportedly cast a mail-in ballot in Florida's Republican primary, according to Politico, which cited Palm Beach county voting records. The White House later confirmed the president's mail-in vote, as reported by the New York Times.
This marks at least the third time President Trump has voted by mail. He previously voted by mail in 2020 and in a statehouse special election earlier this year, mailing his ballot on 13 August last week.
In March, President Trump signed an executive order to restrict the use of mail-in ballots ahead of the November midterm elections. He has repeatedly criticised mail-in voting, calling for restrictions and making false claims about the security of the process and the outcome of the 2020 election.
A federal judge has blocked part of the executive order's implementation, though the Trump administration has asked the Supreme Court to intervene.
