Donald Trump's Super PAC, Maga Inc, held more than $400 million as of July 31, a sum larger than the cash reserves of any major party committees. The midterm races officially began this week, raising questions about how Trump will allocate these funds.

Trump reportedly stated on Friday that he would personally weigh where to direct support, including towards Republican candidates he believes can win competitive races. However, some Republican operatives have indicated that certain battleground Republicans would prefer he not visit their districts ahead of November, according to Politico. Republican pollsters have also advised candidates in tight races to limit references to him.

The non-profit arm of Trump’s political operation, Securing American Greatness, has already spent approximately $1 million on its initial midterm advertisements, which are set to air nationwide. These ads feature video clips of Trump discussing tax breaks in his domestic spending legislation and lower prices for eggs and prescription drugs.
