Tui River Cruises is set to launch sailings on the Seine from March 2028, marking its debut in the region. The new 138-passenger ship, TUI Elara, will offer four, seven, and 10-night itineraries.
The cruises will sail through Paris, passing landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Musée d’Orsay. Port stops are planned for Vernon, Rouen, and Le Havre. Guests will also have the option to explore Normandy's D-Day landing beaches through excursions.
TUI Elara, which will launch in March 2027, features 70 cabins, including the brand's first French Balcony Junior Suites. Passengers can fly to Paris Charles de Gaulle with Air France from various UK airports as part of the overall cruise price.
Additionally, Tui has announced plans for two new-build ships, TUI Zora and TUI Velara, which will have 94 cabins and accommodate 188 guests each. TUI Zora is scheduled to sail on the Rhine from May 2028, while TUI Velara will focus on the Danube from August 2028. These ships were designed based on guest feedback for the UK market.
