Post-pandemic GDP growth in the UK stands at 6.3%, which is lower than the US at 15.6% and the Eurozone at 7.2%. This data was highlighted in a recent analysis discussing the term "Europoor" used by some Americans.
GB News presenter Tom Harwood reportedly described the "Europoor" dig as "entirely accurate." The analysis also noted that, when adjusted for the cost of essentials, the average US wage is $86,977, compared to the UK's $66,299, Germany's $76,286, and France's $60,483, according to the OECD.
A Sunday Telegraph investigation into the "Europoor" question pointed to the growth of the US tech sector, which it said was boosted by AI, facilitating the raising and making of money without what it described as "old world" regulation and taxation. Republican pollster Brent Buchanan stated, "We don't want to be like what Europe has become."
