A family in Leeds, West Yorkshire, chose to camp in their garden to escape the heat of a UK heatwave. This decision led to an unexpected wildlife encounter for an eight-year-old girl, Ada.
During the night, Ada was woken by her father to see a vixen, a female fox, standing just 10cm from their tent. The fox was observed looking through the mesh window, with its amber fur and glistening eyes noted.
