Regarding the military base on Diego Garcia, the Prime Minister affirmed his commitment to working with Mauritius and the United States to find a solution that ensures the base's operation and safeguards UK national security. Both leaders agreed to maintain close contact, with the Prime Minister expressing hope that the UK Foreign Secretary and Mauritian Foreign Minister Ramful would meet this week at UNGA to further develop the relationship.
