Netherlands midfielder Victoria Pelova, 27, has made the switch from Arsenal to Tottenham, a move she initially felt apprehensive about sharing with her former teammates. Despite her fears, Pelova stated that 'everyone responded so well' to her decision.
Pelova described joining Martin Ho's squad as 'an easy decision', highlighting Ho's unique approach. She noted, 'I’ve actually never had a coach talking like that about me,' referring to his detailed vision for her as a player.
The player, who was hampered by an anterior cruciate ligament injury in June 2024 during her three years at Arsenal, is now focused on being 'happy again, in football and outside football'. She is looking forward to Tottenham's home game against West Ham on Sunday and particularly anticipates playing against Arsenal on 25 October.
