Two significant video game music tours, celebrating 'The Legend Of Zelda' and 'Clair Obscur: Expedition 33', have confirmed 2027 dates, but the initial schedules have left many fans disappointed.
Nintendo announced a 40th-anniversary concert series for 'The Legend Of Zelda', while a second leg of 'Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s ‘A Painted Symphony’' orchestral tour was also confirmed, including a show at London’s O2 Arena.
However, fans have expressed frustration over the limited number of stops on what are being described as 'global runs'. 'A Painted Symphony' will play 11 shows in France and nine across Europe, with only four gigs announced in North America (two in New York and two in Los Angeles). No other locations have been announced.
The 'The Legend Of Zelda 40th Anniversary' tour will begin with six shows in Japan, followed by four cities in the USA, two in Australia, and three in the UK, with just one stop in mainland Europe.
Organisers for both tours have stated that additional cities and countries will be announced in the near future. Tickets for both concert tours are scheduled to go on sale this month.
