Wales forward Georgia Evans is celebrating a remarkable 2026, a year she describes as a 'whirlwind'. Her summer began with a Premiership Women's Rugby (PWR) title win with Saracens.
Just days after her league triumph, Evans became engaged to England World Cup winner Hannah Botterman during a trip to Greece. The couple has also purchased a new house.
Evans and Botterman have started the process of planning a family. Botterman shared on The Good, The Scaz & The Rugby podcast that she has undergone IVF pre-scans, which she found 'terribly surprised' by. Evans noted it was 'a bit of an eye opener' regarding the steps involved.
Evans, who was targeted by online trolls after Wales' World Cup exit 12 months ago, said she is now 'in a really good space' and focusing on being her 'happiest self'. She also praised the support from their unions for elite athletes planning for motherhood.
