  • Cameron Congreve, 22, will join Westerlo from Swansea City.

Wales international winger Cameron Congreve is set to transfer from Swansea City to Belgian top-flight side Westerlo for a seven-figure fee. The 22-year-old Swansea academy product impressed during a loan spell at Scottish Premiership side Dundee last season.

Congreve's form led to him earning his first senior international caps for Wales in June friendlies against Ghana and Romania. Despite a previous expectation that he could push for a first-team place at Swansea in the 2026-27 season, the Championship club has sanctioned his departure.

The deal is reported to include add-ons and a sell-on clause. Swansea will also have the option to match any bid from another club should Westerlo agree to sell Congreve in the future. Congreve joined Swansea at under-nine level and will leave having made 19 senior appearances for the Welsh club, including three league starts.
